Abstract: The using packers in oilfields have complex construction.Packer setting and releasing need for certain well conditions.Some problems exist in field application.This paper introduces a kind of new type self-sealing packer,whose hydraulic self-sealing mechanism replaces setting and releasing mechanism.Field testing results show that it is simple and reliable and has a wide application prospect.
