Status and prospect of CNOOC’s extended reach well drilling technologies

  • 摘要: 大位移井是海洋油气资源开发的重要方式,可以减少生产平台的建造以及实施油气滚动勘探开发,近年来中国海洋石油大位移井钻井技术有了新发展。阐述了大位移井井眼轨道优化设计与定量评价、钻井液与含油岩屑处理、井眼高效净化与监测方法、降摩减扭安全钻井、套管高效下入等技术研究现状,总结了拟悬链线轨道设计、海上岩屑深度固控处理、井眼清洁监测方法、降摩减扭工具、管柱下入辅助工具等技术进展。在此基础上,对未来大位移井面临的需求和挑战进行了展望,指出应持续加大大位移井裸眼延伸能力、水力延伸能力、机械延伸能力的科技创新研究,进一步满足各海域边际油气田开发、老油田二次调整对大位移井技术的更高需求。

     

    Abstract: Extended reach well is an import method to develop offshore oil and gas resources, and it can reduce the construction of production platform and implement progressive exploration and development of oil and gas. In recent years, new progresses have been made in extended reach well drilling technologies for offshore oil in China. In this paper, the current situations of the optimization design and quantitative evaluation of borehole trajectory design of extended reach well, the drilling fluid and oily cuttings disposal technology, the efficient hole cleaning technology and monitoring method, the friction and torque reduction technology for safe drilling, and the efficient casing running technology were illustrated, and the technical progresses of pseudo-catenary trajectory design, deep solid control disposal of offshore cuttings, hole cleaning monitoring method, friction and torque reduction tool, string running supporting tool were summarized. Then, the future needs and challenges to extended reach well were predicted, and it was suggested to continuously strengthen the technological innovation and research of open-hole extension capacity, hydraulic extension capacity and mechanical extension capacity of extended reach well, so as to further meet the stricter requirements of offshore marginal oil and gas field development and secondary old oilfield adjustment for extended reach well technologies.
