川西海相难钻破碎地层超深水平井轨道设计

Trajectory design of ultra-deep horizontal wells in the marine hard-to-drill fractured strata of western Sichuan

  • 摘要: 川西海相气藏平均埋深超6 000 m,增斜段钻遇的须二段—小塘子组地层属铁质胶结,岩石致密,可钻性级值大于8,机械钻速仅1.19 m/h;储层雷口坡组层理发育,局部区域破碎严重,井壁易失稳。针对后期大规模开发以大斜度定向井和水平井为主的现状,提出了一种基于川西海相工程地质特征,以造斜点优选、造斜率分层设计为核心的四增剖面设计思路:以降低难钻地层须家河组—小塘子组的造斜率或进尺作为造斜点优选原则;第一增斜段造斜率降至10~15 (°)/100 m,以提高定向效率;第二增斜段钻遇地层马鞍塘二段可钻性相对较好,以快速增斜、扭方位为主;第三增斜段钻遇地层马鞍塘一段,为提高机械钻速降低造斜率;第四增斜段钻遇地层马鞍塘一段底部至目的层雷口坡组,在保证矢量入靶要求下尽量设计低造斜率。该设计方案可以提高定向效率并降低安全钻井风险,对下一步川西海相超深水平井安全快速钻井具有借鉴意义。

     

    Abstract: The average burial depth of the marine gas reservoirs in western Sichuan is over 6 000 m. The second member of Xujiahe Formation-Xiaotangzi Formation encountered in the angle building section is characterized by ferruginous cements and tight rocks with drillability grade over 8 and rate of penetration (ROP) only 1.19 m/h. The reservoir of Leikoupo Formation has developed bedding and is seriously fractured locally, so wellbore tends to be unstable easily. In view that large-scale development in the late stage is mainly based on high-angle directional wells and horizontal wells, the design idea of four-increase section with kick-off point optimization and separate-layer deflection rate design as the cores was proposed based on the engineering and geological characteristics of the marine gas reservoirs in western Sichuan Basin,The kick-off point shall be selected according to the principle of decreasing the deflection rate and drilling footage of the hard-to-drill strata, i.e., Xujiahe Formation-Xiaotangzi Formation. The deflection rate of the first angle building section is decreased to 10-15 (°)/100 m so as to increase the orientation efficiency. The second angle building section drills into the second Member of Maantang Formation, which has better drillability, so fast angle building and direction turning are dominant. The formation drilled by the third angle building section is the first Member of Maantang Formation, so it is necessary to increase the rate of penetration (ROP) to reduce the deflection rate. The fourth angle building section drills into the bottom of the first Member of Maantang Formation and the target layer (Leikoupo Formation), so deflection rate shall be designed as low as possible while ensuring the vector target-entering. This design scheme can improve the orientation efficiency and reduce the drilling risks and is of great significance to guide the fast and safe drilling of marine ultradeep horizontal wells in the western Sichuan Basin.
