南海西部油田常规探井钻井提速配套技术

ROP enhancing technologies applied in conventional exploration wells in western South China Sea oilfield

  • 摘要: 南海西部油田地层砂泥岩交替频繁、地层倾角大、泥质含量高、断层多、易垮塌、砾石含量高、地层研磨性强,钻井复杂情况多,极大限制了常规探井钻井时效。针对这些难题,经过多年的实践与探索,逐步形成了根据地层特性匹配的个性化钻头提速、在难钻地层使用扭冲工具提速、灵活应用非常规井身结构提速、高陡地层使用垂直导向系统防斜打直、使用强封堵型钻井液体系防塌防漏等一系列钻井提效技术及配套工艺。同时也详细探讨了各项技术原理、配套工艺措施及现场应用效果。近年来南海西部油田应用结果表明,百余口常规探井平均机械钻速由24 m/h提高到40 m/h,建井生产时效由88 %提高到98 %,钻井复杂情况率得到显著降低,为类似探井钻井提效提供参考与借鉴。

     

    Abstract: The formation of Western South China Sea Oilfield is characterized by frequently alternating sand and mudstone, large dip angle, high shale content, many faults, easy collapse, high gravel content, strong abrasiveness and many complex drilling conditions, which greatly limits the drilling efficiency of conventional exploratory wells. To solve these problems, after many years of practice and exploration, a series of ROP improvement techniques and supporting measures were developed and applied in complicated situations including making up personalized bits according to formation characteristics, using torsional and flushing tools in hardly drilled strata, flexibly applying unconventional well profile, employing vertical guidance system to prevent deviation in steep strata, and using strong plugging drilling fluid system to reduce collapse and circulation loss. Meanwhile, the technical principles, matching process measures and field application effects were discussed in details. In recent years, the application results of more than 100 conventional exploration wells in Western South China Sea oilfield show that the average penetration rate has increased from 24m/h to 40m/h, the production efficiency has increased from 88% to 98%, and the drilling complexity rate has been significantly reduced, providing a reference for similar oilfield to improve drilling efficiency.
