地震层速度法预测南海北部深水钻井安全钻井液密度窗口

The forecast of safe mud density window with seismic interval velocity method for deepwater drilling in northern South China Sea

  • 摘要: 针对南海北部琼东南盆地深水油气田钻井过程中窄钻井液密度窗口导致的井漏问题,建立了适合深水环境的井壁稳定分析计算模型,应用地震层速度资料对L4 井的地层孔隙压力、坍塌压力、破裂压力进行了计算。结果表明,坍塌压力随井深增加而增大,但总体都小于地层孔隙压力,因此将地层孔隙压力作为安全钻井液密度窗口的下限。破裂压力随井深增加而增大,在海底泥面处最小,仅为1.02 g/cm3,地层孔隙压力与地层破裂压力下限的范围仅为0.021~0.092 g/cm3,最大也只有0.290 g/ cm3,表明安全钻井液密度窗口窄。结合目标井的实际情况,考虑ECD、激动压力等的影响,推荐了不同层段钻井液密度范围, 计算结果与实钻情况吻合,满足实际需要,表明应用层速度计算安全钻井液密度窗口是可行的。

     

    Abstract: For solving the problem of well leakage caused by the narrow mud density window drilling, at the deep water oil and gas field in Qiongdongnan Basin of the northern South China Sea, the calculation model has been established to analysis of wellbore stability in deep water conditions. In addition, we calculate formation pressure and collapse pressure and rupture pressure about L4 well based on the seismic data. It indicated that the collapse pressure increases with well depth and it is all less than formation pressure, so the formation pore pressure is as a lower limit of the safe mud density window. Further the rupture pressure increases with well depth and it has a minimum value just 1.02 g/cm3 at the bottom of the sea. The lower limit of formation pressure and rupture pressure just ranges from 0.021 g/cm3 to 0.092 g/cm3, the maximum value is 0.290 g/cm3. It indicates that the safe mud density window is narrow. According the actual situation of the target wells and ECD and the surge pressure, we recommended the range of drilling fluid density in different layers. The calculation results consistent with the actual drilling data and meet the actual needs. It indicated it is feasible about application the seismic data to calculate the safe mud density window, and it is of important significance for the area following drilling.
