Application of ?406.4 mm liner hanger technology in deepwater drilling

  • 摘要: 针对深水钻井水下井口系统的表层套管尺寸限制后续套管层次的问题,介绍了?406.4 mm 超大尺寸尾管悬挂技术以及与其对应的注水泥工艺。悬挂装置由承载环和配套的悬挂器组成,承载环最大外径508 mm,最小内径445.8 mm,出厂前预制在?508 mm 套管上;配套的悬挂器上卡环坐入?508 mm 套管承载环上的对应卡槽内,连接?406.4 mm 尾管串。对作业过程中可能出现的一些问题进行了分析总结,提出了建议。该技术有助于优化井身结构,从而更好地应对复杂地层钻井难题, 对今后类似井的作业具有很好的借鉴作用。

     

    Abstract: To solve the subsequent casing levels limited by surface casing size in the subsea wellhead system for deepwater drilling, a ?406.4 mm oversized liner hanger technology and corresponding cementing process are introduced. The hanger device is composed of carrier bar and supporting hanger. The maximum outside diameter of the ring is 508 mm and the minimum inner diameter is 445.8 mm. It is prefabricated on a ?508 mm casing before delivery from factory; the snap ring of the supporting hanger is seated into the corresponding slot of the ?508 mm casing carrier ring to connect the ?406.4 mm liner string. Some problems that may arise during the operation are analyzed and summarized, and suggestions are provided. This technology is helpful to optimize the wellbore configuration and better address the complex formation. It also provides a good reference for similar wells’ operations in the future.
